We love it when one of our own gets married. Gorgeous Coterie member Paige Brown tied the knot with her loving beau in a beautiful wedding in Nashville. Set in Cumberland Park, the ceremony was a mix of modern glamour and subtle elegance. Blush, ivory, and silver fell perfectly in line with the overall theme. Tell us how he proposed!
Giovanni proposed to me on Christmas Day! We’d opened all of our presents and were headed out the door to visit family members. He got down on one knee just as we were leaving and asked me to be his wife. It was completely unexpected and SO beautiful.
What was the style of your wedding dress?
I am so very picky. After months of searching for the right dress, I ended up purchasing a beautiful dress and adding my own personal touch to it. I had a beaded Maggie Sottero dress that I customized into a mermaid style dress. It was embellished with crystals, beautiful lace, and had a gorgeous form fit to it.
What are your favorite memories of your wedding day?
I have two! Walking down the aisle to my husband. The feeling was so surreal and unexplainable. I walked down to a saxophonist playing “At Last” by Etta James and it was absolutely magical. Another great memory is kissing my husband for the first time as Mrs. Brown!!! I could hardly wait for the officiate to get to that part.
What advice do you have for our brides-to-be?
Be SURE to to hire a wedding planner or month of coordinator. It is absolutely imperative!!!! Pinterest will convince you that you can do a lot of wedding planning on your own, but truth is, it is a lot more difficult than it looks. Don’t hire a family friend or relative, please be sure to invest in the real deal. You will thank me later!
