Modern Wedding with Traditional Touches in California

LaShondra and Poulen Grimsley’s wedding was a simply elegant mixture of modern and traditional design aesthetics.  The bride was a beauty in her modern Melisa Sweet gown, which she paired with a classic black Vera Wang sash, with a vintage Juliet cap veil. Shades of purple and magenta with gold and black accents were seen throughout their stunning wedding decor, which included amazing arrangements of purple and magenta flowers, and purple chargers which popped against golden table linens. Preston Davis of Divine Order Photography captured all of the exquisite details and touching moments of LaShondra and Poulen’s lovely union.

Most Memorable Moment

Walking down the aisle. We opted for a first look which I thought would calm my nerves but once the processional music started to play I lost it, it was a beautiful emotional moment.

Enjoy the planning process, try not to stress out over the details and know that everything will be perfect (even if things go wrong) and it’ll all be worth it in the end.
