Couple celebrates their love in a colorful jewel-tone wedding at Your Signature Hall & Events in Charleston, South Carolina.
Ebony and Latasha’s love story began while serving in the United States Navy. First meeting while stationed in Charleston, South Carolina, they knew early on that there was something special between them. Their natural chemistry steadily grew into genuine love.
When they were both deployed at the same time, Tasha decided to take their relationship to the next level, and during a port visit in Greece, she proposed to Ebony over FaceTime. Of course, she said yes!
When it came to planning their dream nuptials, they didn’t waste any time. Tasha shared, “Being away from each other for so long, we both knew we didn’t want to waste any more time away from each other. We both returned from deployment in November and started right away with planning our dream wedding.”

- Gifts for one another: Just the gift of everlasting love and little surprises throughout the night like surprise 3D sprinkles and fog (a complete surprise for Latasha) and a send-off with a town car that took us to the Battery in downtown Charleston.

We were stationed together in Charleston, South Carolina.
The proposal…
We both were deployed at the same time. During a port visit in Greece Tasha proposed to Ebony over FaceTime with the most amazing view surrounded by her friends. Being away from each other for so long, we both knew we didn’t want to waste any more time away from each other. We both returned from deployment in November and started right away with planning our dream wedding.

We both wore the most amazing gowns from Bridals by Jodi, a beautiful boutique in the heart of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. Being that we did not stick to tradition, we shopped together for our dresses, but did the final fitting as a secret. We must have visited more than 10 dress boutiques until our wedding planner recommended Bridals by Jodi.
Best wedding day memory…
Our best memory from the wedding would have to be our first look. We were blown away by how beautiful and over the top the reception hall was decorated.
