Tracey and Gary’s love story began at the barbershop after being introduced by mutual friends. Their connection felt very natural, that feeling you get when it seems as though you’ve known someone your entire life regardless of having just met. Almost immediately the trust was there and with it a spoken and unspoken communication that brought them even closer. Their matching casual and laid-back personalities gives them a language of love that is all their own.

Gary knew Tracey was “the one” through her patience, he knew he needed someone patient, and Tracey’s selflessness was unlike anything he experienced. For Tracey, she knew Gary was “the one” from his honesty. In her words, “he was honest, even if I wouldn’t like it … being truthful is a key factor in our relationship and I know that’s what will make it last.”

The intimate ceremony was garnished with numerous subtle black-tie touches, from the utensils to the finely dressed staff. Tracey’s simple and sleek wedding dress was everything she wanted, with a perfect fit and a stunning look.

Incorporating culture into their most special of days was a very large factor for Tracey and Gary; he being born and raised in Jamaica, and she of Jamaican and Trinidadian heritage. Their cake, a Black Cake made with rum soaked fruits was representative of both of their heritages, as well as the main menu – including BBQ Jerk Meatballs, and Red Snapper, bringing together an overall unforgettable evening.

Best memories: There’s too many! Gary surprised me with a message from some of the players from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers; Mike Evans, Doug Martin, James Winston, and Noah Spence, just to name a few. There was a point were Gary pretty much gave a testimony to how much work it took for us to get to the point of the wedding. Six months after being engaged Gary broke his arm in a severe ATV accident, so when the officiant pronounced us as being ONE, everything was made complete.

Advice for engaged couples: You HAVE to compromise. In reality, both of you are sharing this big day to plan the rest of your lives. It should be how you both want it to be.
