Ogonna and Chiedu crossed paths seven years ago, when both were in the bridal party of a mutual friend; Ogonna as a bridesmaid and Chiedu as the best man. And following a whirlwind romance, the proposal took place during another celebration of a new beginning – at a mutual friend’s baby shower. Beautiful!

Describe your wedding dress! What was wedding shopping like for you?
It was a strapless fit and flare allure gown. The colors of the dress were champagne, ivory and silver. It was a fun and quick experience. I went with my wedding planner.
Did you incorporate any culture into your wedding?
We are Igbo (Nigerian) and during our wedding, presentation and breaking of Kola Nut (which symbolizes love, hospitality and respect)
occurred.
