Rochelle and David's cozy and romantic city hall wedding in San Francisco had something blue plus Manolo's too!

Rochelle and David’s city hall wedding in San Francisco, captured by Apollo Fotographie, was a super fun minimony celebrating their romantic vows to each other.

Their deeply personal ceremony had just the right touches of glamour because of the historic building’s magnificent rotunda, grand staircase, and Rochelle’s pretty satin blue pumps by Manolo Blahnik of course! With their officiant presiding over the I’Do’s and Bay area harpist Krista Strader setting the atmosphere with beautiful melodies, Rochelle and David’s big day was made even better with the cutest photos near the Golden Gate Bridge (and thaaaat pretezel y’all!).

For some Fashuuun added to this city hall mix, the couple decided to rock Zara for both of their wedding day suit looks. Choosing to wear a new bridal look rather than a traditional gown, Rochelle cut a stylish figure with a white long sleeved tuxedo dress which she coordinated with her statement shoes and pretty blue clutch. David’s dapper style was well suited for the day as he complimented his bride in navy blue and wore Gucci as his footwear of choice.

Here comes the bride!

How they met…

We met at work back in the Philippines. David was the senior nurse while I was an orientee. Like any other couple, we started off as friends and eventually fell for one another.

Their first date…

After work, we hung out at one of my favorite coffee shops back home.

When they knew they found “the one”…

David left for the UK to pursue his career while I moved to the US to chase my dreams. We spent 5 years of our relationship being apart. But we’ve always known that we’ve wanted to spend our lives together. When the pandemic hit, we realized that life was too short for us to be without each other any longer.

The proposal…

It was February 1, we were getting ready to go out for dinner. I was asking him which shoe matches my dress when he pulled out the ring and said, “I think this would look better on you.” And then he asked me to marry him. And of course, I said YES!

Their engagement session & theme…

We had our engagement shoot at one of the beaches of Oahu, Hawaii. We didn’t go for any particular theme, we just wanted to be our usual selves and enjoy the moment.

Favorite thing to do as a couple…

We enjoy any time we can spend with each other irregardless of the activity. But lately, we’ve been traveling, trying out restaurants and working out together.

Wedding planning…

Planning was challenging since we only had 2 months to prepare and we had to do everything by ourselves remotely (We are from Tennessee). But we were glad that we pulled it off and everybody enjoyed the intimate wedding.

They’re favorite moments…

Most of our guests are from overseas and we were looking forward to hanging out with them. It was like a mini-reunion and vacation for us since for most of us, it was our first time being in San Francisco.
